TWK10® Granted China Patent for Bone Health Application
Synbio Tech Inc.(1295.TW) announces that its proprietary strain, Lactiplantibacillus plantarum TWK10®, has been granted a China invention patent titled “Use of Lactobacillus plantarum TWK10 to Improve Bone Healing” (Patent No. ZL 2022 1 0424077.6), published on March 31, 2026.
The patent covers the application of TWK10® in bone repair. According to the patent, TWK10® supports osteoblast activity and bone formation processes. Animal studies showed improvements in bone volume fraction (BV/TV) and bone mineral density (BMD).
Previously used in sports nutrition and muscle health, TWK10® is now also applied in bone health, further supporting research across the gut–muscle–bone axis.
As global populations age, healthy aging has become a key focus in the nutrition and wellness space. Mobility, muscle health, and bone health are central to this shift. Extending from muscle to bone, TWK10® contributes to overall vitality and supports long-term quality of life.
