From Biotech to Semiconductors: Connecting Through Sports at Southern Taiwan Science Park

That belief extends beyond our day-to-day work. Through wellness initiatives, employee clubs, and team activities, we encourage our colleagues to stay active while building stronger relationships across departments.
Badminton has become one of the most popular activities among our team. Colleagues from R&D, quality, business development, sales, legal, and marketing regularly come together on the court. While their roles may be very different at work, badminton gives everyone a chance to connect, communicate, and work toward a shared goal outside the office.
Recently, Team SynbioTech took part in the 2026 Southern Taiwan Science Park Badminton Tournament, where we competed in the same group as our STSP neighbors TSMC and ChipMOS.
Biotechnology and semiconductors may operate in very different worlds, but on the court, the same qualities matter: focus, teamwork, and good sportsmanship. The tournament was also a great opportunity to connect with people from different industries and strengthen relationships within the Southern Taiwan Science Park community.
As a member of Southern Taiwan Science Park, SynbioTech is proud to contribute to a community that brings together companies across science, technology, and innovation. While we continue advancing microbiome science and developing probiotic solutions for global markets, we also value the relationships we build with the people and companies around us.
